MOTIF

Handmade in Ankara.

This motif was designed from the traditional rose and nightingale, which is Gul & Bulbul in Turkish, motifs on sateen quilts. The nightingale's love towards the rose derived a storyline behind a saying, 'Gülü seven dikenine katlanır / Who loves the rose will tolerate it's thorns'.
